Majestic 31 Cathedral (1930)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Majestic 31 Cathedral (1930)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Made by Grigsby-Grunow Co. Of Chicago, IL. This rare radio was built to last! This unit has three tuned radio frequency stages using type 24 tubes followed by two type 45 push-pull tubes for practically distortion free audio output. The finish and walnut wood is fair to good although an easily replaced base molding is missing on the left bottom. The speaker grille needs replacing although the speaker cone is flawless. Sold "as is" as a great restoration project or I can do professional electrical and cosmetic restoration for a nominal additional sum. A truly historic early cathedral radio! AC, BC only. 15"W x 19"H x 10"D, 54 pounds.
