 The Westinghouse Aeriola Senior RF receiver and AC amplifier were among the first radio sets offered to the general public in the early 1920s with the ability to drive a horn speaker to normal listening level. They were relatively easy to operate and sold fairly widely. This combo pair includes a good set of the original type WD11 tubes (with considerable value in their own right). Not only is everything in very nice cosmetic condition, it also operates very well, as you can see here. Note that the horn speaker and batteries/holder shown in the video are not included; you can easily procure a suitable speaker and connect up batteries and antenna to operate this set yourself as shown. This is a nice chance to own a remarkable early 1920s radio set in excellent condition with original finish and fully operational. Each of the two boxes is 8-1/2"W x 7"H x 7-1/4"D. $425.00. (1310224)
