Crosley 124 "Play Boy" Cathedral (1931)
Here's a classic early 1930s cathedral you can add to your collection. Radios with this type of iconic cathedral styling are the very identity of what "antique radio" means to many Americans. In the depths of the Great Depression, sales of Crosley and Philco cathedrals were one of the few signs of prosperity. This radio has an eight-tube superheterodyne chassis and has been fully restored to like-new operation with all new capacitors, a strong set of tubes, a new antique-style power cord, and a full RF and IF alignment. Its 8-inch speaker has been rebuilt and sounds great. The refinished cabinet will look sharp on display. 17-1/4"W x 17"H x 10-1/4"D.  $350.00. (1310055)
