| This model was introduced in 1956 and 1957. This was the last tube Trans-Oceanic advertised nationally. Black Stag covered. One of the nicest ones I have come across. The 600 series started in 1954 and was the first Trans-Oceanic with a slide rule dial. This one has a brand new 1L6 tube which sells for around $68.00 if you can find one. This unit also has the 50A1 tube. Plays great on all bands of AM and shortwave. Original knobs, dial and speaker. All the safety capacitors replaced. All tubes checked and replaced if need be. Resistors checked. All switches, controls and tube sockets cleaned. Has been aligned to factory specs. This one has the original AC cord with factory take up reel that works well. Charts are excellent. Original owners manual and brag tag included. Latches are all great and work well. Escutcheon has no damage at all and dial plastic is clear. Dial light works. Nice straight rod antenna. Cabinet is super nice and clean. Chassis is very exceptional. Proudly made in the USA. 90 day warranty. Unpacked weight is 18-1/2 pounds. 17"W x 11"H x 8-3/4"D. |
