Majestic Loudspeaker (1920s)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

No model number, marked "Majestic G-G-H," for the Grigsby-Grunow-Hinds Co. of Chicago. The horn part is very light weight, probably molded hard rubber. An adjusting handle for the diaphragm works through a slot in the base. Curiously, the coil impedance is around 40 ohms, so a transformer is needed to match either antique (high-Z) or modern (low-Z) sources. The bell is about 13" in diameter, the overall height about 20".
