THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A really nice ivory Sparton Retro radio from 1950, nicknamed the "Football" radio for obvious reasons. These cases were made out of plastic, and consequently most of the survivors show a lot of wear. But this case is in very nice condition, with just a few rubs, but no cracks, tube burns or major cosmetic issues. A couple of minor repairs were made to the plastic pieces inside the case that hold the back on the set. It does have its original back and knobs with brass inserts intact. The chassis has been checked by a pro, and everything needing changing was replaced. The radio is playing clearly, picking up all my local AM stations without any problems. About 13"W x 6"H x 6"D.
