Philco 48-225 (1948)
(plastic tube table radio)

Philco 48-225 (1948)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Deep red/maroon Philco in a styrene case that's in nice cosmetic condition. A few rubs and scratches, but no cracks or hairline cracks. Deep red color. This radio was featured in the "Brooklyn Bridge" TV series which ran in the 1990's on CBS about a Jewish family growing up in Brooklyn, NY. This radio was always shown in their son Michael's bedroom. Plays great, has been recapped, and picks up all my local AM stations clearly. Retro-Tronics replacement back on the set. About 9"W x 7"H x 6"D.
