THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Very tiny 1953 Zenith portable in a hard to find gray color, commonly referred to as the "Owl Eyes" for obvious reasons. This radio is in very nice condition with no chips, cracks or hairline cracks. The handle is in great shape, just a couple of small marks where it touches the case, a common occurrence on this radio. The metal inserts are still in the knobs. The radio comes with its special cord, and is playing nicely without any filter hum, picking up all my local AM stations clearly. The chassis has been checked completely by a pro. A four tube set with the antenna built right into the handle. "Zenith, the quality goes in before the name goes on!" Very cute, very small, and very hard to find! About 6-1/2"W x 4-1/2"H x 4"D.
