Crosley 56-TA-L (1946)
(Bakelite tube table radio w/SW)

Crosley 56-TA-L (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

At the end of WWII, everyone liked to listen to world news on short wave. Crosley offered this handsome American Overseas model with both an AM and a SW band, in a beautiful brown Bakelite cabinet with a standout colored dial. The radio has been gone over by a pro, and plays very well on AM, with some stronger SW stations picked up at night. Partial label on the bottom, and a reconstructed back. Brand new plastic dial cover in place. No cracks, chips or other cosmetic issues. A very nice example of this post-War set not seen too often. About 11"W x 7-1/2"H x 6"D.
