THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This International Radio "Clockette" was known as the Modern, the other two styles that year being the Futura and the Colonial. The original selling price was $19.95. The case is in nice condition, and the finish appears to be original. There are just a couple of small veneer repairs near the front top. The brass escutcheon, dial pointer and screen are in beautiful shiny condition. There's not much confusion about why it was known as the "Clockette." The radio is working and playing, but the chassis utilizes an extended antenna wire, so the reception is OK but not terrific. In my opinion, this is more of a classic set to admire on your shelf than to listen to regularly. Also has a replacement back in place. About 8"H x 7-1/2"W x 5"D.
