Emerson 540A "Midget" (1947)
(plastic tube table radio)

Emerson 540A "Midget" (1947)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This highly collectible midget Emerson is in perfect condition. There are no cracks, chips, or hairlines. The cases were very fragile, hence few survived. It even has its original back, and its black bullet knobs. The set plays very well picking up all my local AM stations. This was advertised at the time as the "World's Smallest AC/DC Super Heterodyne." It was available in four colors: Walnut, Ivory, Red and Mint Green.
