Crosley E-15 (1953)
(plastic tube table radio)

Crosley E-15 (1953)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Chartreuse green Crosley in classic automotive styling and in very nice condition. The radio is playing nicely picking up all my local AM stations with no annoying filter hum. The chassis has been recapped by my technician, so it should perform well for many months to come. The case has no cracks, breaks, or hairline cracks. There are a few paint chips from 60+ years of use. This set is a Canadian Crosley E-15, exactly the same as the American set, only with a different label. These radios usually have ugly tarnished metal trim pieces. The metal trim pieces on this set have been re-plated by a professional, and look shiny & beautiful. This is an excellent example of a radio that is an icon of the early 1950's.
