Philco 37-610 Tombstone (1937)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Philco 37-610 Tombstone (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a gorgeous Philco shouldered tombstone. The walnut cabinet looks spectacular as does the front burl wood photo finish. A lighter shade of burl wood on the front center, along with pinstripe inlays, is contrasted beautifully by a darker outside front and edges. The set features broadcast band and two shortwave bands which are displayed on the "eye catching" back lit shadow dial. One of the neatest features with the back lit dial is the entire dial moves when tuning stations, while the orange lighted pointer stays stationary. All numbers and letters representing station frequencies are legible and show little signs of wear. The dial glass and escutcheon are also in great shape. All four knobs are in excellent condition and work as they should. The tuning knob also features a "veneer" inset tuning knob which allows for pin point tuning accuracy. The five tube chassis is clean and restored. The radio picks up stations up and down the dial, on all bands, with lots of volume, rich warm tone, and no hum. Please email me for additional photos or inquiries. 18"H x 13"W x 9-1/4"D.
