From the Zenith 1935 lineup, the 808 was the next step up from the 807. This is a six-tube model covering AM Broadcast and 1.5-4.5 MHz and 5.5-15MHz in three bands. The electronics in this set have been restored and the cabinet finish has been "renewed," not completely refinished. The original finish was smoothed and additional lacquer applied. There is one minor veneer issue at the very back of the top as shown in one of the pictures. It is not noticed except upon close inspection, but noted and pictured. The grille cloth is a reproduction. Fully aligned and ready to go, this set is a player and performs quite well. A great addition to any Zenith collection. $40.00 for shipping & insurance.
