| This eye-catching Art Deco classic radio is manufactured by Belmont, a company well-known for its Deco design. The radio has been completely gone over electronically. All capacitors have been changed and tubes and resistors out of tolerance have been replaced. The set has been realigned for peak performance. This factory-painted white Bakelite set has been repainted by an automobile repair shop using the finest of auto lacquers and has been wet sanded for smooth appearance. The color is called "pearl" white. The back is original as are the knobs and pushbuttons. The bottom of the set has not been painted and is its original white with original paper label. There is a small nick out of the back bottom of the set that can be seen in the last picture. Does not detract at all from the set or its display. Thought about painting all knobs and pushbuttons gold but decided to let the new owner decide. As always, priced to sell so hurry. |
