Pilot T-502 (1946-47)
SALE!  This Pilot(Pilot Electric Mfg. Co., Brooklyn, NY) is a rare (none have been sold or even archived on the Radio Attic) and small AC/DC Superheterodyne "All American Five" receiver. It is a two-band receiver and this one works very well on both bands. A very interesting history of Pilot radio and restoration of one like this can be found here. It has been completely recapped and has a perfect speaker cone. The white portion is Plaskon (a type of plastic known for hairline cracks), and it has three small cracks on the left side and right rear of the top. As long as it is properly cared for, they should not enlarge. Chassis pics are available. Aux input cable has been added; play your favorite tunes or old time radio shows from CD player, iPod, etc. Bluetooth receiver can be added and you can stream audio from your phone, etc. 90 day warranty. 8-1/2"W x 6-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D.  Was $399.00, now $349.00.
