Belmont 6-D-111 "Rabbit" (1946)
Like this radio?

Belmont 6-D-111 "Rabbit" (1946)
SALE!  This is an excellent example of the classic AM band receiver made by Belmont. Collectors have nicknamed it the "Rabbit." These are a stand-out in any collection and are hard to find in undamaged condition. The original paint had "flea bite chips," so it was stripped and repainted with color matched paint by the local paint store. There are no cracks in the cabinet, and the volume control knob, station selector knob, dial and back are original to the radio. Broadcast band only 550 to 1700 KC. Dial is illuminated and looks like new! I restored the electronics and it works great! All paper and electrolytic capacitors were replaced with modern equivalents, resistors checked to be within tolerance and replaced it not, tubes tested and weak ones replaced, IF transformers adjusted for optimum performance, and BC band aligned. It has an internal antenna on the back, and provision for connecting a wire antenna. More pics are available, including chassis, just e-mail me. 90 day warranty on the electronics. 12"W x 7"H x 6"D; weighs 7 pounds.  Was $249.00, now $199.00.
