Zenith K-412W "Crest" (1953)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Zenith K-412W "Crest" (1953)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This tiny Zenith radio was named "Crest" but is commonly called "Owl Eyes" for obvious reasons. It is AC powered, uses four tubes, AM broadcast band, only 7"W x 5"H x 4"D, and weighs just 3 pounds! It is a true survivor in fantastic cosmetic condition with original paint and no cracks or chips. It works very well (all that was done is bypass the selenium rectifier with a modern silicon rectifier). I don't know if it is rare, but it is the only one I have seen in ten years of collecting. I have pics of the chassis and inside of case so just ask and I will email to you. Included is the original Sam's photofact that has all the information needed to troubleshoot and maintain. If you like small radios from the '50s this will fit right in!
