This is a very nice very dark brown, almost black, Bakelite receiver in very good overall condition. The dial plastic has some clouding in a few spots that can be seen in the photos but doesn't detract seriously from its appearance. It is AM/FM and performs well on both. It is a well built eight tube transformer operated radio. All exposed areas, front, back, sides, top, are Bakelite. The chassis inserts at the bottom so this set looks good from any angle. The "Golden Throat" sound is very good. All electronic components have been tested and marginal parts replaced as necessary including the paper capacitors. 14"W x 9"H x 8"D. A very good value at
