Black Bakelite. Almost perfect, one tiny hairline scratch about 1/4" long on right side. The circular dial scale, originally brass color, has aged to a very uniform attractive bronze. This one is AM/Armstrong FM. Performs exceptionally well on both bands and has beautiful tone from its heavy 7" speaker. Has built in antenna for AM and FM with terminals for attaching an external FM antenna if desired. Has tone control in addition to the volume, band selector and tuning controls.
