These novelty radios are getting very rare for some reason if you find one it rarely has the iron trivet that is actually the battery charger. This radio plays loud and clear; electrolytics have been replaced. It originally had a box shaped 9 volt battery that is impossible to find now. I replaced it with older cell phone batteries either NiMH or LiO2. Don't remember but I have not plugged it in for about six months and it still has a charge! The solid maple cabinet has been refinished in lacquer and the porcelain pieces have no cracks or chips. The brass is polished up and protected with special Mohawk lacquer for brass. 14-1/2" with handle up, 10-1/2" down, and 8-1/2" off the trivet. Width including spout is 11" and depth is 8"; about 17 lbs packed.  $195.00. (1000279)
