Emerson 422 (1941)

Emerson 422 (1941)
This is the cutest little pre-War Emerson in a beautiful birdseye maple cabinet. I did some research and found that at least some authorities say that this is an Ingraham cabinet, but the label is gone from it. It does look like it could be one with its solid maple sides and top and a carved maple speaker grille with a walnut front panel for contrast, and beautiful fluted columns on the sides. The radio plays loud and clear and picks up several AM stations. The chassis has been completely restored with all new caps; resistors and tubes replaced as needed. Cabinet refinished in lacquer, new decals. 11"W x 8"H x 7"D, about 9 lbs packed.  $165.00. (1000258)
