Zenith 7-S-232 "Walton" Tombstone (1939)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Zenith 7-S-232 "Walton" Tombstone (1939)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Considered as one of the most collectible of all of these old radios and displayed on the popular television program "The Waltons." This radio is now 80 years old but displays with a dramatic professional refinish with fine luster, iconic wood "Z" knobs and the finest reproduction speaker cloth available. The radio has been well cared for and offers the dramatic sound of the large cabinet and seven tube super-het chassis. The radio offers both broadcast and shortwave with the finest selectivity. The level of repair should offer many years of terrific service. The shutters are smooth as silk, the green tuning eye is brand new, dancing as you tune from station to station. I apologize for the reflections off the dial glass, as these radios have a high dome convex glass over the large dial. Reflections of the lights (and me) make for a bit of a challenge. A mini-jack has been installed allowing you to connect to an external device. This will allow you an unlimited choice of content. Bluetooth is now available for $25 additional! 23-1/4"H x 17-3/4"W x 13"D.
