They were known for some of the edgiest cabinets ever created and this is one of the most unusual ones. The cabinet is crafted of African mahogany and rosewood. The veneers are stunning and very elaborate. The stripping effect makes the streamlined appearance all the more pronounced. The finish is all original with one tiny repair on the right side. The speaker cloth and knobs are also factory installed. Les has done his professional repairs and has installed a bright green tuning eye with winks with a great level of sensitivity. The radio is a powerful eight-tube super-het chassis and plays on both AM and Shortwave. The speaker is an 8-inch full range which makes the radio a super sounding model. The cabinet is large and with a larger sized speaker, the radio has an extremely fine sound.
