Simplex NT-5 Tombstone (1939)
This is a terrific radio. Simplex radios were made in Sandusky, Ohio. Being a smaller and higher quality factory, they were challenged with limited distribution and the later stages of the Depression. They were bought by Philco Radio. Interestingly, Philco shuttered the factory, satisfied they had removed a meaningful competitor. The radio is a nine-tube super-het that offers both AM and Shortwave playing through an 8-inch speaker. The radio sports a terrific fan-shaped dial and a brand new green tuning eye that winks with great sensitivity as you tune from station to station. The cabinet has been nicely refinished retaining the factory installed speaker cloth and knobs. Les has done his highly professional repairs and the radio plays as if it was new. Les added a mini-jack, so you can connect any modern electronic device to it like your phone, pad or computer. Offering any content of your choice is a tremendous benefit and Bluetooth is available for $25 additional. 18"H x 14"W x 11"D.  $699.00. (0961322)
All of our radios have preinstalled mini-jacks at no additional charge.  These are installed with no damage to the integrity of the radio or cabinet damage.  These will allow you to input to your old radio from any modern device.  These include phones, pad and computers.  I enjoy listening through my broadband connection.  My favorites are: pandora.com, iheart.com, and internet-radio.com.  The content is prerecorded, live FM, and shortwave and free.

NOW!  Bluetooth adaptors available with a simple add on.  The cost is $25.  Stream audio to your radio from any Bluetooth enabled device.  The range of these units is 25-30 feet.
