Kroehler/Ozarka 3426 Cathedral (1931)

Kroehler/Ozarka 3426 Cathedral (1931)
This is a very rare radio. Made for Kroehler Furniture by famed manufacturer Ozarka, these were some of the very best radios made in the early AC years. Kroehler furniture was a very well known line in the upper Midwest and wanted to sell radios, too. Radio was all the rage and since Kroehler was so well distributed and known, they contracted Ozarka to make radios with the Kroehler name on the escutcheon. These very same models were also offered under the Ozarka and Viking names. This particular set is a very large TRF and is a six-tube model. The finish, speaker cloth and knobs, are all factory original and in terrific condition. My technician marveled at the sophistication of this set's electronics. He has made the repairs to return the radio to a perfect player. He added a fine silk power cord and Bakelite plug, to replicate the way it left the factory in 1931. This is an impressive radio! 17-3/4"H x 16-1/2"W x 11"D.  $499.00. (0960955)
All of our radios have preinstalled mini-jacks at no additional charge.  These are installed with no damage to the integrity of the radio or cabinet damage.  These will allow you to input to your old radio from any modern device.  These include phones, pad and computers.  I enjoy listening through my broadband connection.  My favorites are: pandora.com, iheart.com, and internet-radio.com.  The content is prerecorded, live FM, and shortwave and free.

NOW!  Bluetooth adaptors available with a simple add on.  The cost is $25.  Stream audio to your radio from any Bluetooth enabled device.  The range of these units is 25-30 feet.
