Silvertone 1620 (1938)
(wood tube table radio)

Silvertone 1620 (1938)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You are looking at a fine example of a highly stylized super-het. Built for Sears, this was a highly advance radio for the era, inside and out. The finish is multi toned and in excellent condition. The dial is clear, and a brand new super sensitive "green eye" aids tuning. The radio has the seldom seen correct factory knobs, and complete factory paper inside the cabinet. This is a seven tube model and plays on dual bands. The radio features five presets, which work perfectly waiting for your setting. My technician has done a complete repair on this radio, replacing the defective parts and those which are prone to failure. He added for your use, a brand new super sensitive tuning eye and a new power cord and plug for regular and safe use. This is a super example and will make a handsome addition to your collection. 15"W x 9-1/2"H x 7-1/2"D.
