THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a very rare set. These "search lights" were a point of sale radio and never sold to the public. The unique form is special, and this example is a fine original example with the factory installed parts and finish. This specimen is the first I have seen with a full factory back with paper tag. The radios were likely made by Detrola, and are a very good super-het with a bright and sensitive tuning eye. My tech has done the usual restoration, replacing the caps and filters, as needed. He replaced all of the weak tubes and placed a brand new tuning eye tube, which opens and closes perfectly. Along with a tuner alignment and power cord, this radio is ready for you to play. The radio is impressive in size at 19-1/2"H x 16"W x 8"D.
