Simply one of the most interesting radios of this era, Detrola Radio made this radio as a statement. The cabinet reminds me of some of the classic Ingraham Cabinets, with a dramatic use of exotic veneers and ornate detail. The radio is all factory original, including a very acceptable original power cord. It is amazing the high quality built into this radio, but the set is almost as if it just left the factory. A lit dial is dramatic at night (see my extra photos), and this six tube dual-band receiver is a fine performer. All of the usual components have been replaced including all of the old filters and caps. My technician did a superb job, and the radio is a very fine player. You will not find a better example of this choice radio! 14-1/2"W x 12"H x 8"D.
