Stewart-Warner 1272 "The Prado" (1933)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Stewart-Warner 1272 "The Prado" (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You are looking and probably drooling over one of the most collectable of the highly styled Stewart Warner deco tombstones. This was a more modest sized model, but the detail and attention to artistry are written all over the radio. It was made of the finest American Walnut with mahogany chevron splitting the grille opening. The effect is stunning! The set has seen a complete restoration. The filters and all of the caps replaced. The tuner was realigned and of course, a fresh power cord and plug. The radio should perform for decades longer! This is a collector quality radio, factory speaker cloth and knobs; and very scarce. One long look at the pictures will explain why you will want to own this radio! 17"H x 14"W x 9"D.
