Zenith 6-S-128 Tombstone (1937)
(x tube tombstone radio)

Zenith 6-S-128 Tombstone (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

There is no more iconic American made radio than a fine Zenith. This is one of the good ones. The set is original in all of the parts, including the famous "Z" knobs. My technician is a Zenith collector, and I doubt there could be a better restoration of one of these sets to be had. He has replaced all of the filters, cap and all other components as needed. The set has a fresh power cord and plug installed for safety. The radio is large at 23"H x 17-1/2"W x 13"D. The lighted dial, with all of the controls radiating in each corner is flawless in the ease of use. I have added a close-up of this six-inch-plus dial. The set has only one minor issue which I did not feel warranted refinishing. At the lowest part of the left side bottom corner; there is a subtle amount of discoloring. Unless you are looking for it, I doubt it would be ever noticed. One evening with a set of this size and quality, and you will never question the reason that Zenith Radios are so cherished by collectors.
