Imperial 6-107 Tombstone (1937)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Imperial 6-107 Tombstone (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You are looking at one very scarce radio. Among collectors, this set is called the "Fahrenheit," as the thermometer on the dial rises as you shift from band to band. All of the functions work perfectly with a complete restoration of the electronics. The green tuning eye tube is brand new and super bright. The additional function of closing when a station is well tuned works perfectly. The radio has a terrific sound, with a complete tone control function. I have been active collecting radios for a long time and I have only seen three of these in several decades. The company was located in Chicago. It was Triangle Industries, and they made a limited high end line under the Imperial name. The set is in a beautiful condition. The case has been refinished very correctly and has a perfect look. The balance of items, I believe are factory originals. The size of the cabinet and the impressive sound perfectly compliment each other. This radio is a real honey! 20"H x 18-1/2"W x 12"D.
