There are many radio collectors who are great fans of Atwater Kent. I am one of them, for the exceptional quality they insisted on, inside and out. This is the second largest of the tombstones that they made, and a handsome radio. The finish is original, as well as every other part, with the exception of a replacement silk cord with a reproduction Bakelite plug. The electronics inside have been fully serviced and the operation is assured for years to come. The finish is outstanding, and with the very fine distinctive toning lacquers, they employed. Look at the wonderful stepped sides, and the fine veneers! This is a taller radio than most at 19"H x 14"W x 10"D. Everything speaks of the quality and reliability of owning an Atwater Kent.
