Elaborate and expensive use of fine wood veneers makes this set anything but ordinary. This little prize is a very good set, super het circuit; Philco put a great deal of effort and engineering into this radio. Volume and tuning dials brightly back lit, make an added visual interest to the set when turned on. The radio has a rather high glossy finish, which is from someone giving a coat on top of the factory finish. The set has a few blemishes, but as you can see, for the 73 years, a very nice radio. The radio has had the complete electronic restoration, ensuring your trouble free enjoyment for many years to come. The radio plays well, good selectivity and tone. Note the very complete factory back and factory install knobs, all correct. This is a great set to own! 11-1/2"W x 9"H.
