Atwater Kent 217 Cathedral (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a special kind of radio. The company, Atwater Kent was out the Philly area, and was known for about 20 years for some of the finest radios money could buy. This is a scarce model, and unique in shape. The craftsmanship the factory built into this set is remarkable. The set has a terrific presence to it, and as all of the AK grand cathedrals, a wonderful sound. The internal condition of the set is like none I have ever seen before. The set is so clean and tarnish free, it is like it was just made. The cabinet, with all of the hand placed inlays, is simply beautiful! If you are a blue chip collector demanding the very best, this is your radio. Shipping weight 35 pounds. 16-1/2"W x 13-1/2"H x 11"D.
