Detrola 302 Clock Radio (1938)

Detrola 302 Clock Radio (1938)
Here is a very desirable Detrola clock radio with a unique teardrop and footed design that is deceptive in size, measuring only 10"W x 9-1/2"H x 4"D. The wooden case is striking with matched veneer on the front and attractive wood grain on the top and sides. It's in beautiful cosmetic condition not often found with no chips, digs nor missing veneer. The horizontal marquetry strip on the front is excellent, tight and complete while the dial face, pointer and dial cover are in great shape, grille cloth tight with no fraying, bullet knobs that are original to the set and the bottom label mostly intact. The radio's electronics are complete, the chassis clean and rust free and it powers on producing light static but no reception. The clock face is very sharp but the clock is not running and the wires were disconnected and removed for safety reasons. I do not restore radios and am not a technician. I acquire and sell them as found for display purposes.  $435.00. (0910239)
