Trav-Ler T-202
(plastic tube table radio)

Trav-Ler T-202

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a smaller table set with a unique style known as "Googie" - an exaggerated architectural design seen in coffee shops & bowling alleys of the 1950's. The radio's case shows that influence in its angular shape & the sweeping cantilevered roofs of that era. It's a nice mellow cream colored plastic with contrasting powder blue grille and reflecting finish. There are no cracks, chips or stress marks and just the lightest of wear with knobs that are clean and original. The radio plays well and retains the firm cardboard back and almost complete bottom label.
