Silvertone radios sold!

Silvertone 4500-1 (1936)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Silvertone 4500-1 (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Not your usual design, this ivory-painted Bakelite set has graceful Deco lines to complement the large waterfall louvers over front and back, all contrasting nicely with the original black knobs. It plays with great sensitivity and no background noise - all new caps, alignment and new cord. The grille cloth looks to be original and is in excellent condition. The "surround" case is sound with minor repairs and a repaint done several years ago. Interesting side note: this TRF set has volume control that extends or shortens the frequency for local or long range frequencies. Simply increase the volume to pick up long range, decrease volume for local stations. Price includes everything. 9-3/4"W x 7"H x 5-3/4"D.
