Westinghouse H-540T4A Clock Radio
(plastic tube clock radio)

Westinghouse H-540T4A Clock Radio

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This screams 1950's in design and color and comes with the original box and manual. The step up/down style is unique and creates a linear feel until you see it from the side with the concave grille. Both the clock and radio have been serviced. The radio has good sound and good selectivity and the clock runs smoothly. Notice there is no second hand; what they did was punch a "star" hole below the 12 and install a moving black & white piece just behind. The star changes colors very fast and fluidly to let you know it's working! All the knobs are original with a small piece missing from the tuning knob shaft, but it still fits snugly at a slight angle and tunes as it should and does not show. The case shows very light usage marks on it but no cracks/chips/hairlines with a cool swirling effect on the top/right sides due to the plastic aging differently. The cardboard back is crisp and bottom label is intact. Box is in great shape with the lower insert (there's an Acme Fast Freight, Houston, TX label on one side). Box is marked for the black model but I found the clock radio in it when I acquired it. Manual is tattered but holding together. S&I included, no handling charge.
