Sparton Junior 410 Tombstone (1930)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This Sparton is one beautiful set, and is fairly hard to come by. This particular set has had a good life. The radio has been completely restored cosmetically and electronically. The chassis has had all its capacitors replaced along with out of tolerance resistors; a new reproduction cloth line cord has been installed, retaining its original Bakelite plug. The filter choke and interstage audio transformers have been replaced with NOS Thordasen from the same period. The field coil in the speaker has been rewound; however, the original speaker cone is flawless. This electronic restoration was a task I'll never forget, but the radio plays beautifully, and look at that beautiful repwood grille with its original grill cloth in excellent condition. This radio is simply beautiful and would look great anywhere.
