Philco 16B Cathedral (1934)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Philco 16B Cathedral (1934)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

One of the biggest and most impressive cathedral radios I?ve seen. It has five bands covering 520 KC to 230 MC. Has the Shadow Tuning Meter, which acts much like a tuning eye, and the Automatic Interstation Feature which affects the AVC in a way to clear up one station bleeding into another. This 11-tube monster is one of Philco's best performers. The cabinet has been refinished using original tones of stains and lacquers. The chassis has been restored cosmetically and electronic-wise. All capacitors were replaced, stuffed back into their original cans and blocks. All out of tolerance resistors replaced. The chassis has been stripped, painted and all stainless polished. 19-1/2"H x 16-1/2"W x 12-3/4"D.
