| This Bakelite radio was made by the Bowers Spark Plug Company. As I understand, this company made about 50 different radios and went out of business in 1948. This radio is in a very good condition cosmetically, but it does not work; I think one of the tubes is burnt. It is a real and most rare collectible radio from a company that was specializing in automobile spark plugs, not radios. The radio is not listed in any books nor repair manuals. One of a few, still here! |
