General Electric 400 (1950)

General Electric 400 (1950)
Here we have the genesis for my "Motherhood" analogy. This is the older brother to the ivory GE on the right. It's a striking maroon marbleized Styrene GE that is quite handsome! There is, however, a small hairline to the left of the on/off knob about 11 o'clock. You can barely see it in the front picture. It plays very well. Electronically reconditioned with new paper and electrolytic capacitors with all out of tolerance resistors replaced. The five tubes are strong. It has a new power cord, too. A Jim Dennis "Mom, ice cream and Apple Pie" Special! If you'd like additional pictures please let me know. 11-3/4"W x 6-1/2"H x 6-3/8"D.  $125.00. (0510568)
