Bendix 636A (1947)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Bendix 636A (1947)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A masterful piece of radio case architecture to be sure. What shoulders! Stalwart works, too. This is a beautiful brown swirled Bakelite Bendix. It has a brand new dial scale that when the radio was built in '47 it was 99 cents. Not any more. It has been electronically reconditioned and aligned. Resistors checked for tolerance! The six tubes are strong and the tube layout on the bottom is in good shape. There is a phono jack and an external antenna that adds dramatic increased sensitivity! A Jim Dennis Scale of Beauty "Heart Throb Special!" If you'd like additional pictures please let me know.
