Philco 51-930 (1951)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Philco 51-930 (1951)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Philco Magnifico! The raised top with half moon dial reminds me of the Hawaii state flag with rainbow colors and King Kamehameha on it. The case, of course is Bakelite and solid as Gibraltar! Sounds like a geography class. And, class is the operative word! All tubes checked, new capacitors, a couple of resistors and a replacement IF can. This six tube radio plays great! I said it once I'll say it again "Like most Philco radios manufactured during this period were, in part, what made this country great, dependable and reliable!" The back and tube layout is on the bottom are in very good condition! There is a small bugger in the middle of the brass piece (see pic). If you'd like additional pics please let me know.
