Packard-Bell 551 (1946)
(plastic tube portable radio)

Packard-Bell 551 (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

The pictures don't do this five tube single band radio justice. Made of wood; I have painstakingly color-matched and repainted it like it was in '46. It has a new dial cover, power cord and dial scale. It has been recapped, tuned and plays well! Why, it even has the original felt on the tuning and on/off volume knobs, all four rubber feet and the tasty brass accents that run the length of the radio on each side. No chips or cracks. The grille and handle are mint and what's called ivory plastic in the Riders Manual. This Art Deco gem looks like 1946! If you'd like additional pics please let me know.
