Motorola 56L2 (1956)
(plastic tube portable radio)

Motorola 56L2 (1956)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This Motorola "Lunch Box" style portable looks nearly new on the inside. The black plastic handle also acts as a directional antenna. Cabinet is metal, clad in a beautiful red covering. Cosmetically it's very nice but it does have a few damaged areas to the covering. Some previous owner has done a pretty good job of repairing and touching-up these areas, and the set is very presentable. The chassis is very clean and has all its original Motorola factory tubes and the original AC line-cord. The radio is playing very well with strong reception and nice sound. Not tested on battery. 10"W x 9-1/2"H (including handle) x 2-1/2"D.
