Silvertone "Orange Crush" (1960s)
(plastic tube table radio w/FM)

Silvertone "Orange Crush" (1960s)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Flower power is back with this vintage 60's Sears AM/FM in bright orange crush. This radio has to be one of the last production tube sets offered by a big name distributor. It has a circuit board with tubes which is not at all repair friendly. The FM band is a bit scratchy and I was unable to correct the problem. Otherwise it is very selective and plays strong on both AM & FM. There is an edge chip as shown and a tight hairline in the white frame around the dial. It has some surface wear, but retains a factory high gloss shine overall. The base label is gone and I can not identify it. A very cool and hard to find set measuring 15"W x 6"H x 5"D.
