Unknown Red Radio (1938)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A unique little radio shown in chrome in Philip Collins Book Radio The Golden Age. I was told that it may have been made by Westinghouse, but I?m not sure this is correct. Collins dates it at C. 1938 which is probably right. Four tube model uses a resistance line cord. The cabinet has been beautifully repainted. The dial is a replacement, but the knob and grille cloth are original. The chassis is super clean and complete. It has been serviced and played well when tested. 6-1/2"W x 4-1/2"H x 4-1/2"D.
