A beautiful, virtually flawless, rarely offered kitchen radio; this Bakelite set is a brilliant white and features a wind-up timer. The timer knob is on the left and the tuner and power/volume controls are on the right. It has a built in baking timer that works perfectly. The timer has a nice loud bell DING! Back in the early 50's, the Musical Chef was part of a promotion in that when you bought a Crosley appliance like a stove, washer, dryer, etc., the Musical Chef was given as a gift.
